Life Stages
You have your whole life ahead of you! You set ambitious goals and work hard while burning the candle at both ends. College, career, friends, and family mark this high-octane, fast-paced life stage.
STAGE 1/ADRENAL HEALTH
Cells are happy with healthy osmosis. They take in oxygen and nutrients effectively and eliminate waste efficiently. Typically, cells are healthy and resilient and can bounce back quickly with a little rest and TLC. As cortisol and adrenaline levels rise, stress symptoms show up as burnout.
Impeded performance due to poor nutrition
Dehydration
Difficulty falling or staying asleep
Waking up tired, feeling fatigued
Unwanted weight gain
Stress-related vasoconstriction
It is easy to assume we will have the same youthful energy and faculties we have now when we are old, but this is not so. Now is the time to learn BASIC BODY MAINTENANCE. The decisions you make now will affect your vitality for the rest of your life!
MATURE—35-55 years
You are still a powerhouse, but you have occasional speed bumps. This is the swing stage of life when stress-related and age-related symptoms overlap.
Declining Hormone Levels—estrogen and testosterone—can make you feel like you have lost your romantic spark, as emotions and attraction are tied to our biochemistry.
Balancing your career, family, social engagements, financial goals, and a myriad of responsibilities brings on prolonged stress. This stress causes your adrenal glands (located above each kidney) to convert the hormone DHEA into the stress hormone cortisol instead of estrogen and testosterone. Soon, your thyroid is getting and sending mixed signals, which can translate to auto-immune symptoms, brain fog, lower sex drive, and overall reduced ambition.

Aging includes the beginning of Menopause (Perimenopause) and Andropause (Male Menopause) when the body naturally begins to produce less estrogen and testosterone as a natural part of the life cycle. This takes us to Stage 2.

STAGE 2/ADRENAL STRESS
Some cells are compromised or damaged. Osmosis continues but with less efficiency. Oxygen and nutrients still get into the cell, bu
not all waste gets out. Cells begin to get clogged with “sludge” and “cellulite,” creating osmosis obstruction. Some symptoms of this stage are:
Impeded performance due to poor nutrition
Lower adrenal function
Thyroid imbalance
Lower sex drive
Brain fog and poor memory
Difficulty sleeping, feeling chronically fatigued
Lower overall ambition and energy levels
Many at this life stage begin to experience over 300 auto-immune disorders, including:
Arthritis
Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
Type 2 Diabetes
Psoriasis
Lupus
Hormones are fundamental to our sex drive, mood, sleep, energy, and overall feelings of wellness and ambition. Take control by learning your levels. Request a Male/Female Hormone Panel at your annual physical to establish a benchmark for these important hormones. Ongoing stress creates additional wear and tear on your cells, depleting your resources and making it more difficult to recover. Adrenal exhaustion is the result of the cumulative effects of stress.
Now is the time to learn ENHANCED BODY MAINTENANCE. While there is no magic pill to reduce stress, you can support your cells on a core level by cleaning out cortisol-related inflammation. When you do this, you will experience more restful sleep, better mood, have more energy, reduce brain fog, enhance your physical and mental performance, and have an overall sense of health and well-being.

SEASONED—55+ YEARS
As you enter this stage of life, you may still feel somewhat invincible, or you may notice thatyou have more aches and pains, find your energy levels are low, and become more aware ofyour physical limitations. This can actually be one of the most productive stages of life whenyour years of experience, hard-fought wisdom, and creativity converge, allowing you to stepinto some of the best years of your life.
Without care and attention, damaged, aging cells can create the perfect storm for illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease, memory loss, chronic fatigue, swollen ankles, varicose veins … and the list goes on. But this does NOT have to be your story! These issues are NOT normal for your age. These things ARE reversible! Let’s look at what happens when we don’t “clean house” for our cells—Stage 3:
STAGE 3/ADRENAL EXHAUSTION
Many cells are now sick or damaged. Osmosis is obstructed, so it is more difficult for oxygen and nutrients to get in and for waste to get out. Cells become clogged. Some symptoms of this stage are:
Chronic conditions requiring regular medication such as high blood pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, gut issues, auto-immune disorders, swelling in legs, varicose veins, arthritis, etc.
Reduced energy
Chronic fatigue
Brain fog and memory loss (including dementia or Alzheimer’s)
Most physicians have not been taught the connection between stress and adrenal function. Many do not even address the issue unless/until you have a very low cortisol reading in yourblood work—the symptoms are fatigue, weakness, and low blood pressure. If you are superstressed and constantly exhausted, you may want to request a Cortisol Test the next time yourphysician is doing your bloodwork. If your results fall in the low range, then you fall into this“Stage 3/Adrenal Exhaustion” category. The cumulative effects of stress, poor nutrition, and toxins result in adrenal exhaustion. Thiscondition opens the door for numerous diseases and disorders to compromise your health andlower your quality of life.
